Privacy policy

When you only browse: nothing that identifies you. We count page views without cookies (see “Analytics” below). The quiz answers you give on “Find my mountain” travel in the page address and are not stored unless you save a plan.

When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo, as provided by Google. We never see your Google password.

What you save: the places on your mountain list, the plans you save, and which listings' contact details you opened.

When you list a business: the business name, place, description, prices, photos, videos, review and social links, and the contact name, phone, WhatsApp number and email you enter.

• To keep you signed in and show your list and saved plans.
• To publish your listing and let you edit it.
• To show a listing's phone, WhatsApp and email to signed-in travellers who ask for them. We record that a traveller opened a listing's contact details, so owners and we can see how often a listing is used and to discourage misuse.
• To contact you about your listing or your account.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email.

Listings are public. Everything in a listing except the contact name, phone, WhatsApp and email is visible to anyone, including search engines. Review and social links you add are public too.

Contact details are shown only to travellers who have signed in.

Your mountain list has a link you can share. Anyone with that link can see your first name and the places on the list. It is kept out of search engines.

We set one essential cookie when you sign in, to keep you signed in. We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own.

If advertising is shown on the site, it is served by Google, which may use cookies to show and measure ads. You can control this at adssettings.google.com. Shops you reach through our links (such as Amazon) set their own cookies on their own sites.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you; it records the page, the referring site, the country, and the type of device and browser.

When you tap a shop link we count the click, without recording who clicked.

• Google — sign-in, and advertising when it is shown.
• Vercel — hosts the site, stores uploaded photos and provides analytics.
• Neon — hosts the database.

These companies store data on servers outside India, including in the United States.

We keep your account, list, plans and listings until you ask us to delete them. You can remove places from your list and edit or remove your listing yourself at any time.

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything attached to it.

The site is not meant for children under 18 to sign in or list a business.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
