Altitudes, seasons, difficulty ratings, costs, permit notes and packing lists are our best estimates. Mountain conditions change quickly, and pages that have not been checked on the ground say so.

Before you travel, confirm permits, road status, weather and safety advice with local authorities and operators. Notes about altitude and health are general information, not medical advice; speak to a doctor about your own fitness to travel to altitude.

You are responsible for your own travel decisions and safety.

LetsGoHimalayas.com is a directory. Businesses list themselves and are responsible for what they write. We look at each listing before it goes live, but we do not inspect properties or vehicles, and we have not verified licences, registrations, prices or availability.

We do not take bookings or payments for any listing, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a business. Agree the price, dates, cancellation and payment directly with them, and take the care you would with any business you find online.

• You must own or run the business, and the details and photos must be accurate and yours to use.
• You agree that your contact details are shown to signed-in travellers, and that the rest of the listing is public.
• Listing is currently free. If we introduce a fee in future we will tell you first; you can remove your listing at any time.
• We may edit, decline or remove a listing that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe or inactive.

Some links lead to shops that pay us a commission, the site may show advertising, and businesses marked “Featured” have paid to be shown first. We do not sell or deliver any product ourselves; purchases, delivery, returns and refunds are between you and the shop. See how we earn.

Do not misuse the site: no scraping of contact details, no spam to listed businesses, no false listings or reviews, and no attempts to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

The text, design and data on the site are ours or our contributors'. You may quote and link to pages with credit. Photos in a listing belong to the business that uploaded them.

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from reliance on information here, from dealings with a listed business, or from products bought from a shop we link to.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them; the date at the top shows the latest version. Your personal information is handled as described in the privacy policy.
